Accounting Integrations

Your Books and Your BAS Figures Stay Up to Date, Automatically

Sync sales straight into Xero, MYOB AccountRight, QuickBooks Online or Sage Accounting — whatever your bookkeeper already uses — and pull the GST figures behind your BAS labels out as a spreadsheet when the quarter closes. No manual exports, no re-typed totals.

How it works

Built for Australian Bookkeeping

Xero and MYOB, connected properly

Connect Xero or MYOB AccountRight through your provider login, map your accounts once, and sales feed straight into the platform your bookkeeper already uses for GST and BAS.

Automatic daily sync

Sales totals push through on their own, per venue — no CSV exports and no manual journal entries when the quarter closes.

QuickBooks Online and Sage too

Prefer QuickBooks Online or Sage Accounting? Both are supported alongside Xero and MYOB, and all four connect the same way.

Why it matters

Less Time Reconciling, More Time on the Floor

Venues that export sales by hand at the end of a BAS quarter lose a weekend to reconciliation. An automatic sync closes that gap — your bookkeeper gets clean numbers, and you get the time back.

No manual CSV exports or copy-pasted totals into your accounting software.

Connects to the four platforms Australian bookkeepers actually use: Xero, MYOB AccountRight, QuickBooks Online and Sage Accounting.

GST applied at 10 percent across every channel, with GST and your ABN printed on the receipt automatically.

Where your plan includes fiscal exports, the GST figures behind your BAS labels download as a spreadsheet for any date range.

Accounting FAQ

Accounting and BAS Questions From Australian Operators, Answered

Which accounting software does RestroManage integrate with?+
In Australia, RestroManage syncs with Xero, MYOB AccountRight, QuickBooks Online and Sage Accounting — the four platforms Australian bookkeepers and accountants work in. Each is connected by signing in to the provider and mapping your chart of accounts once, after which sales sync on their own.
Do I still need to manually export sales for my accountant?+
No. Once connected, your daily sales sync automatically to your accounting software, so your bookkeeper or accountant works from up-to-date numbers without you exporting CSVs or re-entering totals by hand.
Does RestroManage produce the figures I need for my BAS?+
It produces the figures, not the lodgement. Where your plan includes fiscal exports, you can download a spreadsheet for any date range covering total sales at G1, GST-free sales at G3, GST on sales at G9 and 1A, and the GST on your Stripe processing fees at 1B. The date range follows your configured trading day, so a venue closing at 2am is not split across two days. RestroManage does not lodge anything with the ATO, and it only sees your sales and your Stripe fees — the GST credits on your supplier invoices still come from your bookkeeping.
What about GST/BAS reporting for Australian restaurants?+
GST is applied at 10 percent across dine-in, takeaway, online and QR orders, and receipts are labelled with GST and your ABN automatically because the tax labelling follows your venue’s country. Your ABN is checked against the ATO checksum when you enter it, so a transposed digit is caught before it reaches a receipt — and that check is part of every package, not an upgrade. From there, sales sync into Xero or MYOB for the rest of your BAS process.
How often does sales data sync to my accounting software?+
Sales sync automatically without you triggering an export — your accounting platform stays current with what's actually been sold, instead of waiting for a month-end batch upload.
Can my accountant or bookkeeper access the synced data directly?+
Yes. Once connected, the data lives in your accounting platform — Xero, MYOB AccountRight, QuickBooks Online or Sage Accounting — exactly like any other transaction source, so your bookkeeper works in the same tool they already use for every other client.
Does the integration handle multiple locations separately?+
Yes. If you run more than one venue, sales sync per venue, so your records stay separated by site rather than blending into one combined figure — which matters when each venue reports under its own arrangement.
Is switching accounting software required to use RestroManage?+
No. RestroManage connects to the accounting platform you already use — Xero, MYOB AccountRight, QuickBooks Online or Sage Accounting — so there is no requirement to migrate to a new accounting system to switch your POS.
